Falcon 9 Lines Up Two Classified Space Force Missions This Week
SpaceX's Falcon 9 is scheduled to launch two classified missions for the US Space Force in a week with eight launches expected worldwide, NASASpaceflight reports. The first, USSF-432, is set to lift off from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base on Wednesday, 4 November, in a four-hour window opening at 5:14 p.m. PST (01:14 UTC on 5 November). Falcon 9 will carry a classified payload to low-Earth orbit on a southerly trajectory, and the first stage, booster B1095, will be making its eighth flight. The rest of the week's manifest includes four Chinese missions, a launch of South Korea's Mir rocket from Jeju Island and Rocket Lab's 99th Electron mission, which lifted off from New Zealand on 2 November. Reused boosters carrying national-security payloads: that is the normal SpaceX built.
