Tesla is building its own maps to fix Navigation issues

According to Teslarati, Tesla is building its own AI-based mapping and navigation architecture to replace third-party map data, with voice integration and personalized routing expected to roll out with the v15 release.

Elon Musk separately disputed a NASA panel's estimate of 22 Starship launches for a Moon landing, saying the actual number will be 6 to 8 based on upgraded hardware.

Meanwhile, Fort Bend County approved tax incentives for Tesla's $10.1 billion Project Crystal Sun solar factory, targeting early 2029 production and 9,712 permanent jobs by 2033.
