According to Teslarati, SpaceX reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $14.6 billion, a 161 percent year-over-year increase that topped consensus estimates, and swung to a $4.4 billion net profit from a prior-year loss. The Super Intelligence division generated roughly $7.6 billion, growing nearly 830 percent to become the largest revenue contributor, while the Connectivity segment delivered $5.2 billion as Starlink subscribers reached 13.6 million.
Management guided for first-quarter 2027 revenue of $33 billion to $37 billion, well above the roughly $22 billion analysts had modeled, and outlined fourth-quarter capital expenditure of $35 billion to $40 billion for AI compute infrastructure. The company targets 2.5 to 3 gigawatts of nameplate compute capacity by year-end and pathways to 13 gigawatts or more by end of 2027, with compute pricing supporting payback periods under a year.
Following the earnings call, multiple firms raised price targets, with JPMorgan more than doubling its target to $500 from $240 and others including Cantor Fitzgerald, Barclays, Citi, UBS, TD Cowen, Wells Fargo, and Clear Street also lifting targets. Shares closed at $147.79 on October 20 and jumped roughly 8 percent in early premarket trading on October 21.
