Tesla reports Q3 Earnings today: here’s what to expect
According to Teslarati, Tesla reported third-quarter 2026 earnings with revenue of $28.046 billion against a $28.34 billion consensus, non-GAAP EPS of $0.48 versus $0.45 expected, and free cash flow of $1.531 billion versus a projected negative $4.51 billion. Deliveries reached 486,532 vehicles, exceeding consensus but declining 2.1 percent year over year, while energy storage deployments rose to 13.7 gigawatt-hours.
The company highlighted that Full Self-Driving Supervised attach rate surpassed 75 percent of new North American deliveries, a nearly twenty percentage-point sequential increase. Volume production of the Tesla Semi began, offering 500 miles of range at full gross combination weight with 1.7 kilowatt-hours per mile efficiency. Compute capacity targets 400 megawatts by year-end, with Austin factory equipment commissioning planned for 2027. In Austin, the Cybercab robotaxi fleet accumulated nearly two million unsupervised miles with operating hours expanded to 6 a.m. to midnight. Investor questions focused on scaling the robotaxi fleet beyond Austin amid an open NHTSA safety review, timelines for unsupervised FSD and Cybercab ownership, unit economics per paid mile, and hardware upgrade plans for existing vehicles. Separately, SpaceX reported third-quarter revenue of $14.6 billion, a 161 percent year-over-year increase, with net profit of $4.4 billion, prompting multiple analyst price-target increases.
